DAY 1

We woke up early and a perfect weather left us with no choice, but to visit Sentosa Island. Its a popular island resort here in Singapore with attractions ranging from beaches, hotels, golf parks, universal studio, aquarium and the Merlion.

Things to carry

• Suncream
• Umbrella

Getting to Sentosa Island

Sentosa is easily accessible via MRT rail system, buses and Cabs. We went via MRT as it was much cheaper than others. There are cable cars too which offers nice panoramic view of singapore, they are little expensive but I guess its a worth to give a try. Do collect map of sentosa Island,it helps in not getting lost.

Beaches Sentosa

There are three beaches Palawan, Siloso and Tanjong beach, each offering a different experience.
All the activities on Island are kind of paid except beaches.

1. Palawan is a family friendly beach with multiple activities for kids
2. Siloso offers a number of bars and restaurants and mainly attracts party rockers.
3. Tanjong beach offers a nice tranquility and solitude. A favourite book, sun and mild breeze would be blessing. This beach gets particularly beautiful during night.

Its difficult to roam around to different attractions via walk, thus MRT rails comes handy and provide faster mode of commotion within island.

S.E.A Aquarium

This is a heaven for all, even if you dont like auatic animals, you would after visiting this worldful aquarium with 10,000 animals of over 800 species. It's an experience you wont forget. we ended up spending minimum 3-4 hours within the aquarium itself :). Don't forget to bring your photography camera.







All the attractions in sentosa can't be covered in one single day, given there is so much to do, we did visited Sentosa one more time to cover remaining attractions (will write in upcoming posts). Overall, its a must place to visit during your singapore journey.
